Rural district in Khuzestan province, Iran


Mosharrahat Rural District (Persian: دهستان مشرحات) is in Gheyzaniyeh District of Ahvaz County, Khuzestan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Mosharrahat.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 7,651 in 1,452 households.[5] There were 40,882 inhabitants in 9,215 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 12,675 in 3,686 households, by which time the rural district had become a part of the newly established Gheyzaniyeh District.[3] The most populous of its 55 villages was Zargan-e Karaneh, with 7,744 people.[2]
