Neena Kurup (born 3 May 1967)[1] is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam films and television series in supporting roles to character roles.[2]

Personal life and career

After completing her school from St. Joseph Anglo Indian Girls High School, she went to Providence Women`s College, Calicut to pursue her graduation. The actress made her debut on the silver screen with Gandhinagar2nd Street (1986), where she played a small role, over the years, in her illustrious career she has starred in more than 50 years. Some of her most notable film credits include Rasikan (2004), Kaiyoppu (2007), Violin (2011), Bangles (2013), Vellivelichathil (2014), Girls (2016), and Nimisham (2018).

Apart from films, the actress has also worked extensively in the TV industry; she has starred in more than 15 TV series` and also has participated in many reality shows. She is associated with the 2018 Angane Njanum Premichu and Velakkariyayirunnalum Neeyen Mohavalli. Her other releases include Luca (2019), Ormayil Oru Shishiram (2019), Oru Nalla Kottayam Karan (2019) and Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte (2020).
