Ognjen Jaramaz (Serbian: Огњен Јарамаз; born September 1, 1995) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Partizan Mozzart Bet of the Serbian KLS, the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague. Standing at 1.93 m (6 ft 4 in),[1] he plays at the point guard and shooting guard positions.

Professional career

He began playing basketball in a hometown based club Napredak Kruševac where he stayed until 2006. He then moved to Partizan, playing for the youth categories.

In the summer of 2013, Jaramaz signed a contract with Mega Vizura. He was loaned to Smederevo 1953 for the 2013–14 season, where he made his professional debut. He returned to Mega Vizura in the summer of 2014. He left the club after the end of the 2016–17 season. However, on January 3, 2018, Jaramaz returned to Mega.[2]

In June 2018, Jaramaz signed a two-year contract with Spanish club San Pablo Burgos.[3][4] Jaramaz was loaned to Partizan for the second half of the 2018–19 campaign and then spent the subsequent two seasons with the Serbian powerhouse on a regular transfer.

Bayern Munich (2021–2023)

On July 2, 2021, Jaramaz signed with Bayern Munich of the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) and the EuroLeague.[5] In his debut season with the club, Jaramaz averaged 6.8 points and 3.4 rebounds over 36 EuroLeague games. Bayern finished the season as runners-up in the Basketball Bundesliga. In 2022–23 season, he averaged 6.4 points on 39.2% shooting from the field.

Return to Partizan (2023–present)

On 13 July 2023, Jaramaz returned to Partizan.[6] Over 22 EuroLeague games, Jaramaz averaged 3.2 points, 1.5 assists and 1.3 rebounds on 37.3% shooting from the field.

NBA draft rights

On June 22, 2017, Jaramaz was selected with the 58th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft by the New York Knicks.[7] He played for the Knicks during the 2017 NBA Summer League.
