Oleg Vitalyevich Khlevniuk (Russian: Олег Витальевич Хлевнюк, born 7 July 1959 Vinnytsia, Ukrainian SSR) is a Russian historian. He teached at the history department of Moscow State University[1] and currently a professor at the Higher School of Economics.[2] He authored a number of books on Stalinist Soviet Union. He is a recipient, together with Yoram Gorlizki, of Alec Nove Prize for book Cold Peace: Stalin and the Soviet Ruling Circle, 1945–1953[3] in 2004. He received the Enlightener Prize in 2023.[4]
