Percut Sei Tuan is a town and district of Deli Serdang Regency in the province of North Sumatra, Indonesia. The population of the town in 2001 was 17,863.^[1] It is the district capital of the Percut Sei Tuan district.

The district, which covers an area of 170.79 km² (65.94 sq mi) which lies immediately to the east of the city of Medan, at the 2010 Census had 384,672 inhabitants;^[2] and at the 2020 Census had 402,468 inhabitants,^[3] making it one of the most populated districts in Indonesia; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 423,020.^[4] It is composed of twenty 'villages' (most of which are suburban to Medan), set out below with their areas and their populations at the 2010 Census^[5] and 2020 Census.^[6] Two of these are urban villages (kelurahan - Kenangan and Kenangan Baru) and the others are classed as rural villages (desa).
