Genus of cricket-like animals

Pomatonota is a monotypic genus of katydids; the sole species is Pomatonota dregii. It is the only genus and species in the tribe Pomatonotini within the subfamily Mecopodinae. Pomatonota dregii is found in southern Africa.[1]
