The second highest temperature ever recorded in Salindres was 44.0 °C (111.2 °F) on 1 August 1947, the hottest August day on record for Frances was 44.4 °C (111.9 °F) on 23 August 2023;[3] the coldest temperature ever recorded was −14.5 °C (5.9 °F) on 12 February 1956.
