Rural district in Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran


Sangan Rural District (Persian: دهستان سنگان)[3] is in the Central District of Khash County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Sangan.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 7,248 in 1,660 households.[6] There were 6,187 inhabitants in 1,416 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,411 in 1,854 households. The largest of its 59 villages was Shahrak-e Durudi, with 528 people.[2]
