The tawny antpitta or western tawny antpitta (Grallaria quitensis) is a species of bird in the family Grallariidae. It is found in Colombia and Ecuador. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

The tawny antpitta was formerly considered to be conspecific with the Boyaca antpitta (Grallaria alticola) and the Atuen antpitta (Grallaria atuensis).[2]
