I’ve seen it, and I think it’s really pathetic. I’m annoyed by it so much that I would propose a guideline to prevent such a thing, but such a proposal would be considered equally pathetic and pointless. Not a barnstar, but I once gave myself a Silver Wiki after I organized a contest on Wikimedia Commons but was one of only two or three participants. Not so much an award as it is a reminder why I've never organized a Commons contest since. - ZLEA _T\^C 15:21, 17 November 2023 (UTC)

CactiStaccingCrane made a badge award system for WikiProject Unreferenced articles. As I'm not a member of this WikiProject, is anyone opposed to awarding Cacti {{The Barnstar Barnstar}} for this work? The awards will be newly-given for an upcoming backlog drive.
