Baseball is arguably the most intense rivalry between the two teams, given both programs rise to prominence in the 2000s.[8][9] Tennessee leads the all time series 184-164-2. Vanderbilt controlled the series through much of the 2010s, winning two national titles in that stretch. In the 2020s, the series has gained national attention for its intensity.
