Wetmore was raised in Kalama, Washington and graduated from Kalama High School in 2018.[2] During high school, he taught himself how to play piano.[3] He played football at Montana Technological University, where he majored in business and information technology.[4]
After an injury ended his football career, Wetmore turned to music and relocated to Nashville in 2020. His debut single, "Kiss My A$$", was released in 2021, followed by the singles "Another Shot" and "She's Trouble".[5]
In 2023, Wetmore signed with Back Blocks Music.[1] The 2024 single "Wine into Whiskey" marked his debut on the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts.[6]
