The Voice of Palestine (Arabic: صوت فلسطين, romanized: Ṣawt Filasṭīn) is the official radio broadcaster of the Palestinian Authority,[1] based in Ramallah. It is a subsidiary of the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation,[2] under the control of the Palestinian Authority. The station was originally known as the Voice of Palestinian Revolution (صوت الثورة الفلسطينية Ṣawt aṮ-ṯawra l-Filasṭīniyya) before the 1993 Oslo Accords,[2] and was launched on 17 October 1998.

On 12 October 2000 – shortly after the outbreak of the Second Intifada – successive Israeli Air Force raids stopped transmission of the Voice of Palestine, destroying the technical equipment used for transmission. As of 2008 the radio service broadcast on shortwave (AM).[3]

On 20 March 2023, Israeli authorities ordered Voice of Palestine to be banned from operating within Israel. It had an office in East Jerusalem. The order would allow the station to continue to work in the West Bank and Gaza.[1]
