Von hier aus – Zwei Monate neue deutsche Kunst in Düsseldorf (Up from here – Two months of new German art in Düsseldorf) is the title of an art exhibition from 29 September 1984 to 2 December 1984.[1] It was organised by the city of Düsseldorf and the Gesellschaft für aktuelle Kunst Düsseldorf e.V. and was curated by Kasper König.[2]
The exhibition showed the best of Contemporary German Art and wrote art history.[2] The venue was Hall 13 of the Messe Düsseldorf,[1] designed by the Austrian architect Hermann Czech.[3] The green neon lettering used for the exhibition "Von hier aus" bore the handwriting of Joseph Beuys.[1]
