West Ham and Beckton is a proposed constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament.[1] Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, it will first be contested at the next general election.[2]

Boundaries

The constituency will be composed of the following wards of the London Borough of Newham (as they existed on 1 December 2020):[3][4]

Following a local government boundary review which came into effect in May 2022,[5][6] the constituency will now comprise the following wards of the London Borough of Newham from the next general election:

  • Beckton; Canning Town North; Canning Town South; Custom House; Plaistow North (most); Plaistow South; Plaistow West and Canning Town East; Royal Albert; Royal Victoria; West Ham; and a very small part of Green Street West.[3]
