Czech musician (born 1979)
Ondřej Ládek (born 16 August 1979), known professionally as Xindl X, is a Czech singer-songwriter and screenwriter.[1][2] His music combines pop, folk, hip hop, jazz, and blues.[3][4]

With Julius Ševčík, Ládek wrote the screenplay for the 2005 film Restart. He has also written screenplays for 16 episodes of the tv series Comeback.[5][6]
His debut album, Návod ke čtení manuálu, released in 2008, was nominated for an Anděl Award in the category Best Folk & Country Album.[7] The first single, "Anděl", was nominated for Anděl awards in 2009 in the categories Composition of the Year and Video of the Year.[8]
His song "Láska v housce", a duet with Olga Lounová, from his second album, Praxe relativity, was again nominated for Composition of the Year and Video of the Year at the 2010 Anděl Awards. Xindl X received a nomination as Male Singer of the Year.[9]
His song "V blbým věku", from his fourth album, Čecháček Made, was nominated for Composition of the Year and Video of the Year at the 2014 Anděl Awards.[10]
After the release of his fifth album, Kvadratura záchranného kruhu, Xindl X was nominated as Male Singer of the Year at the 2016 Anděl Awards.[11]
