Xylophanes marginalis is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is known from Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.[2]

Adults are probably on wing year-round.

The larvae possibly feed on Psychotria panamensis, Psychotria nervosa and Pavonia guanacastensis.
