Zavin District (Persian: بخش زاوین) is in Kalat County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shahr-e Zow.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 16,632 in 3,859 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 15,811 people in 4,238 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 14,417 inhabitants in 4,215 households.[2]

After the census, the village of Chenar was elevated to the status of a city.[6]
