Chosen from 16 finalist teams, the MIT-led projects will investigate quantum topological materials and sustainable microchip production.
MIT CSHub postdoc Damian Stefaniuk unpacks new research to bolster concrete’s natural carbon sequestration potential by adding sodium bicarbonate in mixes.
The dataset, being collected as part of a US Coast Guard science mission, will be released open source to help advance naval mission planning and climate change studies.
The teams will work toward sustainable microchips and topological materials as well as socioresilient materials design.
