060926-N-9742R-023 Arabian Sea (Sept. 26, 2006) - An F/A-18C Hornet launches from the bow as another F/A-18C Hornet, assigned to the "Sidewinders" of Strike Fighter Squadron Eight Six (VFA-86), is directed onto the steam-driven catapult aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65). Enterprise and embarked Carrier Air Wing One (CVW-1) are currently on a scheduled six-month deployment in support of the Maritime Security Operations and the global war on terrorism.
