1971 AMC Gremlin, a low priced (suggested base price of $1,999.00) and an economical subcompact built by American Motors Corporation (AMC). This car is in original factory condition and is finished in Snow White with red "rally" side stripes. It has the Custom Interior package in red that includes the high back bucket front seats. It has the optional 258 cu. in. (4.2 L) I6 engine with a 3-speed manual floor shift. It was also ordered from the factory with power steering, power brakes, AM radio, luggage rack, tinted glass, full wheel covers, and a heavy-duty battery. Total suggested retail price was $2694.50, including the transportation charges. It was sold by Taylor Motors in Redding, California. The car has been upgraded to whitewall tires. Picture taken during the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) annual convention that was held July 2015 near Cleveland, Ohio.
