Summary

Description
English: Sailboat racing is a long tradition in the Bras d'Or, with the various yacht clubs around lake hosting annual Regattas and race weeks. The East Bay Regatta, held the last weekend in July since 1984, had grown to be the largest of its kind in Nova Scotia featuring races and other social events. In some years as many a 40 boats participate. Numbers are smaller now but the regatta continues.
