Description |
English:
Copper alloy strap fitting length 42mm, width 21mm, thickness 5mm, weight 6.03g. rectangular plate with a recessed line running down the centre, the rear edge is undulating, the forward edge had a double crescent resting back to back with a projecting knop terminal.
There are two rivet holes, one on the forward edge and the other at the rear, the latter still retaining an iron rivet. This artefact probably dates to the 17th century |
