Ben Tranh District, South Vietnam. June 1970. Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) Gordon Herschell of Leeton, NSW, instructs a Regional Force (RF) soldier from the Delta region in the use of the M16 rifle. WO2 Herschell, a member of the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) is in a Night Operations Advisory Team (NOAT) to retrain the RF soldier as part of a pilot project.
