Summary
The prominent lunar crater at center is Lambert, located on the Mare Imbrium. There is a wrinkle-ridge in the surface of the mare to the upper left, designated Dorsum Zirkel. This image of was taken during the Apollo 15 mapping metric sequence, revolution #44. The selenographic coordinates of this image are 25.50° N, 21.50° W
This picture was produced by reducing a Hi-res image to 25% of full size, then rotating 90° counter-clockwise so that north is toward the top edge.
