Description
English: A high-angle view of the high-bay area in the Vehicle Assembly Building at the Kennedy Space Center showing the second (S-IVB) stage of the Saturn 1-B launch vehicle for the joint U.S.-USSR Apollo-Soyuz Test Project mission being hoisted into position for mating atop the first (S-1B) stage. The major components of the American ASTP space vehicle will be the S-1B stage, the S-IVB stage, and a payload consisting of a Command/Service Module and a Docking Module.
