Das Wappen wurde der Gemeinde von der Tiroler Landesregierung am 1. Februar 1977 verliehen. Das Wappen symbolisiert mit dem Haus den Ortsnamen (" Redendes Wappen ") und verweist mit der Flachsblüte auf den früher bedeutenden Flachsanbau. |
