Beni, North Kivu, DRC – A joint Force Intervention Brigade (FIB) – FARDC patrol routed an ADF combatants’ group on the night of April 13-14, in Nzenga, 8km from Mutwanga, the chief town of Ruwenzori sector. A machine gun was then recovered, and patrols have been stepped up in the vicinity of this village, to prevent any acts of reprisal and to ensure the protection of the civilian population.
