| Description |
English:
[Kantarō Suzuki]. Admiral of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Baron. He was a Marine 14th class (the last Tsukiji Marine graduate). Marine University 1st term. During the Russo-Japanese War, he was a destroyer commander. After that, he was promoted to Vice Minister of the Navy from 1914 to 1917. He became vice admiral on 1 June 1917 and full admiral (Kaigun-taishō) on 3 August 1923. His final military position was Commander in Chief of Combined Fleet in 1924. After completing his reserve duty, he led the Greater East Asia War to an end as Prime Minister. Suzuki was the Chairman of the Privy Council after the war.
