Summary
Description Airspeed Ambassador 2 'G-ALZO' (24379228403).jpg |
c/n 5226. Built 1950. This is the sole surviving Ambassador airliner of the 23 built and has been beautifully restored by Duxford Aviation Society volunteers into the colours of it's final operator 'Dan-Air London'. Hopefully, it will not remain outside for long. Previously on display at the Dan-Air company base of Lasham, the aircraft was donated to the D.A.S. for future preservation, together with an Avro York (G-ANTK). On display at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. 02-8-2015 |
