Further right are State Highway 1 (renumbered 59 in 2021), the North Island Main Trunk railway with a southbound Capital Connection train and Porirua Harbour (renamed Te Awarua-o-Porirua Harbour in 2014). In the background are the Takapūwāhia and Elsdon suburbs of Porirua and the Colonial Knob ridge.
