Description

English: Octagram made with the Arabic word اقرا, the first Quranic word in order of arrival, and meaning "read". (Letter Qaf eight times, letter 'Alif sixteen times.)

Français : Octogramme composé par répétition du mot arabe « اقرا » ( lis ou récite ), qui est le premier du Coran dans l’ordre chronologique de sa révélation à Mohammed . La lettre Qāf est répété 8 fois en tout dans le dessin, la lettre Alif 16 fois.

فارسی: شکلی شبیه به هشت‌وجهی ساخته‌شده با واژهٔ عربی «اقرا» نخستین واژهٔ قرآنی.
