Faïence fine, pâte blanche en relief sur fond bleu et sous couverte - Inscription en calligraphie thuluth : "Gloire à notre maître, le sultan al-Malik al Nasir le sage, l'efficace, le combattant, le champion de la foi, le défenseur Nasir al Dunya wa'l-Din Muhammad ibn Qalla'un, que sa victoire lui apporte la gloire". Les médaillons portent l'inscription ""Gloire à notre maître le sultan".
Pour créer ce modèle, T. Deck a repris la planche n°54 "Vase arabe en cuivre damasquiné d'or et d'argent" du Recueil de dessins pour l'art et l"industrie d'Aldabert de Beaumont. Il s'agit d'un basin conserve"au British Museum. , daté entre 1320 et 1341.
