Moving Picture World
. The ad shows the scene with the crucifixion of nude Armenian girls. The per-seat price in the ad refers to the initial showings of the film in New York and other major cities where a $10 admission was charged to raise funds for Armenian relief. When the film was issued for general release later that year, many theater ads compared their admission price with the $10 paid for these initial showings of the film.
