Cenotafio de los santos mártires Vicente, Sabina y Cristeta en la basílica de San Vicente de Ávila (España), situado bajo el arco toral de la Epístola. De estilo románico, cuyo autor es el maestro Fruchel (o Eruchel). Costado sur, escenas de la persecución de Daciano. En la primera escena se ve como (según la tradición) les aplastan la cabeza con una prensa, con la ayuda de un judío. En la parte superior dos ángeles portan sus almas al cielo; por encima se ve la
mano de Dios
que les recibe. La segunda escena muestra el castigo del judío, al que se le enrosca una serpiente. Arrepentido, pide perdón.

Romanic cenotaph of the martyrs saints Vicente, Sabina and Cristeta in the basilica of San Vicente,
Ávila
(Spain). It is located under the transversal arch of the epistle. It was built by the master Fruchel (or Eruchel). North side, scenes of the prosecution of Dacian. The first scene shows how their heads are squashed with a press (according to the tradition) with the help of a jew. At the top, two angels take their souls to heaven and above, the hand of God welcome them.The second scene shows the punishment of the jew with a snake twisted around him. The penitent man beg for absolution. (16)
