Summary

Description

Although known as the Avro Rota in RAF service, this autogyro type is more commonly known as the Cierva C.30. This example is preserved in genuine markings from its RAF time when it was actually Duxford based. c/n 726. Originally preserved by the Skyfame Collection based at Staverton. When Skyfame folded, most of the aircraft moved to Duxford for static display. The Rota has since been fully restored and is seen in one of the genuine 1918 hangars at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. UK.
