Deutschsprachigen Gemeinschaft
verliehen.
Es ist abgeleitet vom Wappen der Herren von Rolshausen und symbolisiert gleichzeitig den früheren Torfabbau in der Gemeinde.
English:
The arms were officially granted on May 7, 1987. The two spades in the arms refer to the former very important peat mining and trading in the area.
