Description BL6inchGunCartridgeMkIII23lb.jpg	Mk III Cordite M.D. (size 16) cartridge for British BL 6 inch Gun, 1914. The charge is made up of 2 1/2 charges laced together. Total 23 lb Cordite M.D. Length of each 1/2 charge 12.75 inches, diameter 5.75 inches. Total length 25.5 inches. For use in the following guns :- BL 6 inch Gun Mk VII & VIII land and Naval service, except on Mk II twin Naval mountings.
