Summary

Description
English: Barclay's Bank, Colne, Lancashire, near to Colne, Lancashire, Great Britain. In the Victorian period, bank buildings were solid and well executed as if to demonstrate to the public, the probity of the bankers concerned. This splendid example has of course since been treated insensitively with the addition of blue and white plastic signs. The next building up the hill is the old Colne Co-op building.
