Summary
Description Beni Amer woman with her daughter.jpg |
English:
One of the most numerous tribes in the Kassala region are Beni Amer, belonging to the Beja group from the Eastern Desert. The women are beautifully dressed in large, colourful pieces of fabric wrapped around their bodies and adorned with golden jewellery. They are also very camera-shy and proved incredibly hard to capture. This beautiful lady was photographed in front of Kassala's Khatmiyya mosque, along with her little daughter (clearly very scared). A little unsure at first, they both loved the picture after.
