Description
Deutsch: Das Bankhaus Merck, Fink & Co in der Taubenstraße 23 in Berlin-Mitte. Das um 1885 als Geschäftshaus erbaute Gebäude wurde 1924 vom Architekten Paul Zucker modern überformt. Er ersetzte Erker, Stuck und Balkone mit einer modernen Fassade; gleichzeitig wurde das Dachgeschoss zu einem Vollgeschoss ausgebaut. Im Inneren des Haus sind hingegen im Treppenhaus und mit Deckenstuck bauzeitliche Elemente erhalten geblieben. Das Gebäude ist als Baudenkmal gelistet.
