Description The Reichstag in Berlin was opened in 1894. It burned down in 1933, in a fire whose origins have never been definitely settled. It remained a ruin until after German reunification (1990). The Reichstag was rebuilt with a signature glass dome, and reopened iln 1999, as the home of Germany's Bundestag (parliament).
