English: Lunar sample 14321, known as Big Bertha , collected at station C1 on the Apollo 14 mission to the moon in 1971.
This photograph (or a similar one) was used in Figure 5-4 of the Apollo 14 Preliminary Science Report (SP-272), which has the following caption:
Sample 14321 (the largest rock returned from the Apollo 14 landing site; 9.0 kg). The rock is fragmental with a medium-gray matrix and contains abundant dark fragmental clasts. One clast is 10 cm across (S-71-22985).
