Description
English: Blackrod railway station, Lancashire
Opened in 1841 by the Bolton and Preston Railway, later part of the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway. This station was formerly the junction for the short branch line to Horwich. View north west towards Preston, shortly after the line was electrified and the footbridge removed.
