Summary

Description Blickensderfer typewriter layout, as used on travel typewriters invented by George C. Blickensderfer (1850-1917) in 1891 and manufactured by the Blickensderfer Typewriter Co., Stamford, Connecticut, USA. Note that this keyboard had three rows of keys instead of the more common four, and special symbols were accessed with a special shift key.
