Summary
Description Boy playing with a hoop in the streets of Pinga, RDC.jpg |
A boy is playing with a hoop (old bicycle rim) in the streets of Pinga, a sign that life has returned to this town long occupied by the NDC (Nduma Defense of Congo) militia. On 4 December 2013, the Congolese Armed Forces (FARDC) and MONUSCO Intervention Brigade undertook offensive actions to oust this armed group from the town located 148 km north-west of Goma in eastern DRC.
