New York Central railroad
in 1883 at
Rondout Creek
near
Kingston
. Moved to its current location at
Muscoot Reservoir
between
Somers
and
North Salem
in 1904, to be taken out of service in 1960, it is listed on the
National Register of Historic Places
as the only remaining double-intersection
Whipple truss
railroad bridge in New York State.
