Lodz, Millionster Umsiedler im Wartheland
Der millionste Deutsche im Wartheland angesiedelt. Im Zuge der gegenwärtig durchgeführten Umsiedlung der Schwarzmeerdeutschen im Reichsgau Wartheland ist die Zahl der Deutschen in diesem Gau auf eine Million gestiegen. Im Rahmen einer machtvollen Kundgebung in Litzmannstadt stellte Reichsstatthalter Gauleiter Greiser den millionsten deutschen Siedler den 30.000 Männern und Frauen, die zu der eindrucksvollen Veranstaltung erschienen waren, vor. In seiner Rede gab der Gauleiter eine stolze Bilanz über die Volkstumspolitik im Reichsgau Wartheland, wobei er darauf hinwies dass das Wartheland mehr als die Hälfte aller deutschen Umsiedler aus den Siedlungszonen Europas aufgenommen und in die Lebens- und Schicksalsgemeinschaft unseres Volkes übergeführt hat.
