Caricaturista:

Hecho: Primero el distanciamiento con los hermanos Vázquez Gómez por la designación de Pino Suárez para la candidatura a la Vicepresidencia, y la negativa del licenciamiento de las tropas zapatistas, eran entre otros factores, los motivos de que el proceso democrático al que por primera vez el pueblo mexicano tenía acceso pasara inadvertido.

El caricaturista muestra a una gallina que representa la Democracia, mutilada por la espada de zapata, a poca distancia Madero y Francisco Vázquez Gómez, preocupados y sin posibilidades de detenerlo contemplan la escena.
