CeebuYapp.jpg

Summary

Description My First proper Senegalese meal. More well known is Ceebu Jen (thiéboudienne) made with fish, vegetables, and oily rice, which is a staple meal in Senegal most lunchtimes, although scandalously all ingredients now have to be imported because of "free trade". This dish is roughly the same but with beef instead of fish, so for a slightly more special occasion. The best bits are the crusty bits of rice from the bottom of the pot.
